Issue Overview
Error message appears in the Facilities tab when attempting to open/close a site.
Important Note: If the error states Internet Issue, do not submit a ticket with StoreEase, as this is a site level internet issue that we are unable to resolve. Please reach out to your internal IT team and/or the facility manager or technician.
Step-by-Step Troubleshooting
- Refresh VMOS and verify the Error Message is still present.
2. Wait up to 5 minutes before attempting again, refresh VMOS, then attempt to Open/Close.
This is most often caused by a momentary packet loss of the primary internet which often resolves within a few minutes. Please allow a bit of time for this error to clear before reporting.
When to Submit a Ticket
- 1-2 troubleshooting steps do not resolve the issue.
- Multiple 5 minutes have passed, and the error message is persisting.
Information to Include in Your Ticket
- All previous troubleshooting attempts (this includes how long you waited to test again before submitting the ticket).
- Screenshot of the error message to verify the issue is persisting at the point of submission.
