Overview
To help partners respond more quickly to new work, Ease now sends an email notification whenever a new Ease Web Assistant Task is created.
How It Works
- An email is sent immediately when a new task is created.
- The email includes the Amber Summary of the task to provide a quick overview of the request.
- For privacy and security reasons, the email does not include the requestor's name or phone number, as personally identifiable information (PII) is not sent via email.
- Notification emails are sent from no-reply@storeease.com.
The facility name associated with the task will be visible in the email body.
Email Recipients
Each organization can designate one email address to receive Ease Web Assistant Task notifications.
If multiple people on your team need to receive these notifications, we recommend using a distribution list (DL) or shared mailbox managed by your organization.
Accessing the Task
The Open Ease Connect button in the notification email opens EC Hub.
The email does not link directly to the individual task. After signing in to EC Hub, you can locate and access the newly created task from there.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why doesn't the email include the customer's name or phone number?
To protect customer privacy, personally identifiable information (PII), including names and phone numbers, is intentionally excluded from email notifications.
Can multiple people receive the notification?
The notification is sent to one configured email address per organization. If multiple team members need to receive it, configure a distribution list or shared mailbox as the recipient.
What email address should I allowlist?
To help ensure notifications are delivered successfully, allowlist:
- no-reply@storeease.com
