Overview
The “Go Offline” feature allows managers to immediately mark themselves as offline while still remaining logged into Ease Connect. This helps ensure more accurate availability and performance reporting.
How to Go Offline
- While logged into Ease Connect, click on your initials/profile icon (top corner).
- Select “Go Offline.”
You will immediately be marked as Offline in the system.
What Happens Next
- After selecting “Go Offline,” you will see the “Are You Back?” screen.
You will remain in an offline state while this screen is active.
Returning Online
- On the “Are You Back?” screen, click “Yes.”
- You will be marked Online again and can resume normal activity.
When to Use This
- If you typically stay logged in and/or do not shut down your computer at the end of the workday.
Note: If you log out or shut down your computer at the end of your workday, you do not need to use this feature—this will automatically mark you offline.
