Your status tells the system (and your team) how you’re working right now.
Use the options below to control how calls are routed to you and how others see your focus.

🟢 AVAILABLE
You’re ready to take calls.
What happens:
- You will automatically receive inbound calls from the queue.
- You can still make outbound calls or work on tasks.
✅ Fully active and visible.
📞 Auto-assigned inbound calls.
🔴 HEADS DOWN (replaces Away)
You’re focusing and not being auto-assigned calls.
What happens:
- You will not be auto-assigned inbound calls.
- You can still:
- Pick up calls manually from the queue
- Make outbound calls
- Work inside Ease Connect
Visual indicator:
🔺 A red message appears in your Active Comms panel:
You’re Heads Down and focused.
📍 Best for deep work or catching up on tasks without interruptions.
☕️ ON BREAK (new)
You’ve stepped away from the system.
Choose a subcategory:
- 🍽️ Meal Break
- ☕ Coffee/Tea Break
- 🚶 Stepped Away
What happens:
- You are completely unavailable — no inbound or outbound calls, no tasks.
- When you’re ready to return, select “I’m Back.”
- The system will automatically set you to Heads Down.
- From there, you can switch to Available when ready.
🚫 No work functions are active during On Break.

💡 Pro Tips:
- When you come back from any break, Ease Connect automatically sets you to Heads Down — that way, you can settle in before becoming Available again.

Availability Statuses will be visible in the Virtual Managers tab across all online users
- The statuses column will now always reflect the current status, regardless of whether in a call or not
