What::
You can now preview (if needed) and send customers any critical documents directly to an iPad at the counter.
Document types include Move-in, Vacate, Abandonment, Insurance, Autopay authorization, etc.
Why::
This feature will reduce reliance on a customer having a mobile device available, and the time needed for customers to review and submit key documents, such as their new lease.
How::
1. While on a counter call, once you have looked up the user in the PMS, you'll have the option to "Send E-Sign Document" if the user has available documents in the PMS
2. Clicking "Send E-Sign Document" will open a popup where you can select the unit number and document you'd like to send to the customer on the iPad. You can also preview before sending to the customer. Note: While the fields will display as editable when you preview a file, adding information here will not be saved. You can however double check all customer information in the doc is current.
Q1: The information on the document isn't correct, what do I do?
A1: Simply select "Generate New Document" to update the doc with current PMS information.
Q2: It says the customer is not ready to receive documents, what do I do?
A2: Before you can send a document, the customer will need to follow the following steps on the iPad: Select "E-Sign Document" --> "Receive My Documents"
This will enable you to continue with selecting the document to the iPad.
3. Once you've sent the document, you'll receive a confirmation and the option to send again if the customer does not receive it on the iPad.
If received successfully, the customer will see the following on the iPad:
