If a tenant calls in stating that they made a payment, but they are still receiving a notice on the app saying that a payment is due, there are a few things that must be checked.
- Check the tenant’s account in the PMS (Property Management Software, i.e. Sitelink, StorEdge, etc.) and ensure that the payment was processed.
- Confirm that the overlock has been removed in the PMS.
- Ensure that the overlock on the unit is removed in Noke. This can be checked by finding the unit in the Noke portal and confirming that the status says Occupied.
If If all are true, then the tenant will just need to refresh/login out then back into their app.
If If the tenant is still overlocked in Noke and the overlock has been removed in StorEdge, you will need to select Update Customer Data in Noke to refresh the account information. This may take a few minutes.
