Issue Overview
When opening/closing sites in VMOS, the door at the facility remains locked or unlocked regardless of the VMOS status.
Step-by-Step Troubleshooting
- Refresh VMOS and verify the site status is Closed or Open.
- If not locking, confirm person onsite is testing this from outside while the door is locked, not inside. The motion to exit will disengage the maglock and let them out if they are testing from inside.
- If not unlocking, have PM confirm (if possible) that the site has not been deadbolted with a key. This will override the maglock and not allow the site to unlock.
When to Submit a Ticket
- 1-2 troubleshooting steps are confirmed to not be the cause.
- There is not a PM available at the site to verify steps 2-3.

- Detail all troubleshooting that has been done already.
- Contact information for the onsite manager.
